Multi-instrumentalist Keller Williams is known for his high-energy shows and eclectic musical styling. His influences range from bluegrass and folk to jazz, blues, and even reggae. Making his debut on the ROMP Fest stage this year, Keller Williams is teaming together with an all-star cast to bring his project, Keller Williams' Grateful Grass.
Described as loose interpretations of Grateful Dead songs done in a bluegrass style, Williams says the project is his take on a fascination with Grateful Dead songs mixed together with a love of psychedelic improvisational bluegrass music.
Joining him for Grateful Grass will be Andy Falco (Infamous Stringdusters), Ben Kaufmann (Yonder Mountain String Band), Allie Kral (Yonder Mountain String Band) and Danny Barnes.
"If you like singing along to Dead songs in that song’s normal tempo but dancing double time to the music, this is definitely your jam," says Williams, "A lot of people seem to dig it and I dig them for that.”
Keller Williams' Grateful Grass is scheduled to close out ROMP Fest's Saturday night main stage. Schedule your weekend using the free #rompfest app
