Festival Info & Rules

  • This is a Rain or Shine event. All tickets, and camping purchases are final.
  • Line-up and Schedule are subject to change.
  • No view-blocking pop-up tents, umbrellas, or chairs with built-in head coverings are allowed except on the outside edge of the performance area.
  • There will be a Shuttle to take you to the Bluegrass Museum downtown and bring you back. It operates hourly from 10 AM to 5 PM. ROMP wristband wearers admitted to the Museum free from June 22– June 25.
  • Performers love it when you dance! There will be a dancing/standing area in front of the stage. If you plan to sit near the stage, place your chair back a few rows.
  • Set your phone for weather alerts at ‘42303’ 
  • Wristbands must be worn on your wrist and visible at all times. If camping, you must also wear your camping wristband at all times. Wristbands will be checked throughout the festival; be sure to wear the right one for that day.
  • No Smoking permitted in the interior of the festival field. Smoking allowed only on the outskirts of the festival field.
  • No swimming in the lake.
  • Private golf carts or 4-wheelers are not allowed at ROMP.
  • No alcohol, drugs, or weapons are allowed in Yellow Creek Park.
  • Everyone attending ROMP must turn right off of Highway 144 and go through the gate, regardless of whether you went through the gate earlier.
  • Dogs are allowed, but ONLY on a leash; if your dog is threatening or unleashed, you and your dog will be asked to leave. All droppings must be picked up by owners immediately and disposed of properly.
  • You may bring your own food & drink but there will be GREAT food concessions on site.
  • IBMM is not responsible for your personal safety or for any lost or stolen items. Keep valuables locked in your car.
  • Do not use the spray park to shower. Cold showers are located in two areas of the park.We’ll have some camp shower tents (no hot water) and there’ll be plenty of porta-potties, plus some indoor facilities as well.
  • Keep yourself safe! The International Bluegrass Music Museum and Daviess County Parks Department are not responsible for any injury caused by your own neglect.
  • If you purchase a single day ticket and then wish to stay additional days, go to the Main Gate to buy the proper wristband.
  • Keep the park clean. Trash cans and recycling receptacles will be available.
  • No open campfires. Grills permitted. Fires must be contained and above ground.
  • Kids: bring swimsuits for the water spray park! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
