Mike Wheeler & Friends

Mike Wheeler has toured internationally as a singer-songwriter and bluegrass sideman with Gold Town, Crying Wolf, and Chris Henry & The Hardcore Grass, playing alongside top acts at Maverick Americana Music Festival (UK), Aiken Bluegrass Festival, IBMA Bluegrass Ramble, California Bluegrass Association Father's Day Festival, and Steel Bridge Songfest, to name a few. His repertoire centers on lyric-heavy Americana, with an ample dose of original bluegrass and honky tonk.

The native Vermonter has lived on the road for the better part of three years, calling Georgia and Nashville home between tours. 2016 is shaping up to be Wheeler's most prolific recording year. His rendition of "You're My Salvation" will appear on Begging His Graces Volume 2: The Songs and Sins of pat mAcdonald. He's co-written an album with Illinois songwriter, John Hvezda, has a forthcoming album with honky tonk string band, Red Valley Flyers, and plans to release a debut solo LP.
